The columns on the side of this fireplace are hinge-mounted and open to reveal hidden storage. Exclusively designed, the Vivid Flame Grand Electric Firebox is 30% larger than the standard firebox and mimics the look of a real fire, without requiring a chimney or vents. Features include infrared LED technology, six thermostat settings, and dynamic glowing embers. The available chestnut barnwood finish adds to the fireplace's charm.

The product includes the mantel, electric firebox, remote control, a 6' power cord with a lay-flat plug, an anti-topple safety device, and the necessary hardware. The fireplace provides 5000 BTUs of supplemental heat for rooms up to 1000 square feet, with adjustable thermostat settings ranging from 72°F to 99°F (22°C to 60°C). The thermostat automatically turns off the heat when the desired temperature is reached, and there are various timer intervals ranging from 10 minutes to 9 hours, as well as an automatic safety shut-off device.

For year-round enjoyment, the heat option can be turned off to enjoy the heatless flames. The fireplace features five flame brightness levels, and the mantel can support up to 30 lbs, although it is not recommended to place a TV directly on the mantel. The fireplace is CSA and FCC certified.
