The fire pit gas control valve kit is made of high-quality brass material with heavy-duty construction for durable use. It is suitable for low-pressure repair control systems for grills, fire pits, fireplaces, and heaters.

The control valve kit includes the following components:

2. Main control valve with in and out ports featuring 3/8" male flare threads

3. Low working pressure, max 1/2 PSI (65mbar)

4. Thermocouple:

5. Length: 600mm (23.62 inches)
6. Head Tip: M8

7. The thermocouple serves as a sensor, detecting the flame and transmitting a signal to the solenoid valve in the control valve. This allows the solenoid valve to open and pass gas, successfully igniting and maintaining the flame.

8. Plastic Black Knob:

9. Diameter: 44mm
10. "D" insert for valve: 6.0-6.1mm

During installation, the control valve and thermocouple must be well connected to ensure the control valve receives the signal transmitted by the thermocouple, enabling the gas to flow and the flame to ignite.

Additionally, the thermocouple and ignition needle should be positioned in close proximity to each other, allowing the thermocouple to sense the flame and the solenoid valve to receive the induction, passing the gas and igniting the flame.

The installation steps are as follows:

1. Securely fasten the thermocouple nut M8 on the valve end.
2. Connect the plastic black bakelite knob to the valve ("D" Insert).
3. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses to the respective sides, ensuring they are tightened sufficiently to prevent gas leakage.

This control valve kit is suitable for low-pressure repair control systems for gas fire pits, fireplaces, and heaters, such as Weber summit grills, Veranda Harmony Classic fire pits, Canyon Ridge gas fire tables, Canyon Ridge fire pits, BOND FIRE PITS, Hampton Bay Patio Heaters, and more.

The maximum BTU rating for this control valve is 50,000, with a working pressure of 65mbar.
